Position title : Rome Warehouse Operator
Reporting to : Rome Warehouse Lead
Job Purpose :
Responsible for the performance and everyday operation of the Rome, GA Warehouse.
Main Responsibilities :
Role activities include, but are not limited to
- Responsible for achieving departmental and organizational goals within the Rome warehouse
- Ensure procedures, policies, and processes are followed
- Working closely with the Warehouse Lead to insure dispatches and exceed customer promise
- Utilizing docks, warehouse layout, and the dedicated loading patterns to minimize loading time
- Insuring proper processing of all outbound shipments into SAP including maintaining accurate shipping documents and proper identification of orders loaded onto trucks
- Proper identification and rotation of all Original Equipment products in the warehouse
- Utilize FIFO approach when shipping products to Original Equipment warehouses
- Daily accuracy and accountability of the consignment of tires from MIRS final finish area to warehouse
- Processing, preparing, and scheduling R&D shipments
- Pull orders from stock; shipping and loading of tires into trailers
- Ensure DOT tracking scans are being completed 100%
- Organizing the warehouse and work area to insure everything is orderly and clean at all times
