Job Title: Communication Captain (Shift Leader)

*Activities and Responsibilities*
Leadership
Team Member Supervision
The shift leader leads by example, sets clear expectations, prioritizes teamwork and collaboration, promotes a positive work environment, and effectively delegates tasks to ensure efficient and high-quality work. They also work with AGM and GM to cover shifts when needed.
Communication
The ideal candidate communicates effectively with stakeholders, listens actively and responds thoughtfully, facilitates communication, uses professional language and communicates with transparency and honesty.
Problem Solving and Decision Making
The shift leader proactively identifies and addresses workplace issues, analyzes situations using data and input from others to make informed decisions, and takes responsibility for the outcomes of those decisions.
Customer Service
Service Excellence
The shift leader models and encourages outstanding personalized service that exceeds guest expectations. They resolve guest complaints promptly and ensure a high level of service is consistently maintained while also leading by example in maintaining a clean and well-stocked restaurant.
Sales and Promotions
This shift leader effectively promotes and drives sales by demonstrating a strong understanding of menu items, proactively promoting menu items, monitoring food quality, and coaching team members on suggestive selling and promotional strategies.
