PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Manager, CFO Services oversees the delivery of accounting, bill pay, reporting, and tax-related services to family office clients. In this role, the Manager, CFO Services collaborates with other members of the client service team and coordinates with external advisors to provide a wide range of financial services to family office clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide oversight and management of accounting and reporting services to family office clients, including accurate income and expense coding, tracking various investments, investment partnership accounting and tax preparation.
- Maintain and review general ledgers for limited partnerships, LLCs, and other collective entities.
- Coordinate estimated tax payment and tax filing process for family office clients.
- Review and process accounts payable invoices for family office clients and related entities.
- Prepare financial statements for individuals, trusts and other entities.
- Provide day-to-day contact with family office personnel, external service providers and internal staff in connection with a wide range of family office services including accounting, investments, tax, estate planning, trust administration, and insurance.
- Participate in client meetings as a key member of the family office service team providing expertise on the day-to-day financial operations and management of client family enterprises.
- Provide timely review and posting of various scheduled and / or ad hoc custom reports provided to family office clients (i.e., cash flow, projections, tax analyses etc.), ensuring accurate presentation of data.
- Complete various reconciliations associated with area of responsibility and entities serviced.
- Obtain and maintain pertinent documentation related to area of responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the department.
