What are the responsibilities and job description for the EFDA/Certified Dental Assistant position at Pitchok Advanced Dentistry?
Our busy and growing dental office is in search of an EFDA/certified dental assistant. In this position you will be in able to participate in a wide range of restorative and specialty procedures using the latest dental technology. To be successful as our EFDA/certified dental assistant, a pleasant personality is a must have as this is also a patient care role. Multitasking and stress management of patient skills are essential for this position. Ultimately the EFDA/assistants duties and responsibilities are to provide excellent dental care to the patients as well as make them feel ensured they chose the right dental office. Pay dependent upon previous work experience.
Dental or Medical field experience is a must have.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Assisting the doctors in the office including assisting in restorations, removable, crown and bridge work, endodontics, TMJ issues, clear aligners, biopsies, extractions and dental implants
- Lab work
- Scheduling
- Appointment confirmations
- Filing/pulling charts
- Answering the phone
- Cleaning operatories/ instruments

- Proven experience as an EFDA/assistant
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Multitasking and time management skills
- Patient care attitude.
