Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Providing technical expertise to develop process improvements and maximize production and increase capacity.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing problems in order to optimize process efficiency and product quality.
- Facilitate the deployment of new and changed processes to provide improved results.
- Work with management to identify new process improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, cost, performance, and preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Identify area of opportunity for future continuous improvement.
- Assist in performing first article approvals.
- Adhere to all departmental and company-wide safety and procedural policies.
- Notify supervisor of any quality or production problems.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering department with investigating and troubleshooting production related issues.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or Operations Management.
- 5 years of experience in quality and manufacturing process engineering, or a similar role.
- Attention to detail and quality functions.
- Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and produce results. The successful individual will be expected to take ownership of his/her position. The individual will work closely with all major functional leaders of the Company.
