DESCRIPTION:
- Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, developing analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
- Assists the business in turning data into information, turning information into insight and insight into decisions.
- Applies specialized domain knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data.
- Makes judgements and recommendations based on analysis and knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interprets data and analyzes results using statistical techniques and provides ongoing reports. Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources.
- Investigates, researches, and ensures the quality and accuracy of data between multiple systems. Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Filters and cleans data, and reviews computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
- Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Interpret data and analyze results using basic analytical and statistical techniques.
- Develop and provide ongoing support for reports with various Reporting tools such as ServiceNow, Tableau, and Excel.
- Develops and implements data collection systems and other strategies that optimize data quality, speed, and statistical efficacy.
- Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems/data sources.
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Filters and cleans data, and reviews reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
- Works closely with team and management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities.
- Preferred total years of experience: 12 years
EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or related degree
- Experience in varied technologies such as Web Technologies (.NET, J2EE etc.), desktop applications (Windows, Java), integration technologies and other platforms.
- Candidate must have development background. RPA modeler / Developer (UiPath)
- Experience in the following: Distributed architectures, strong OO background, SOA, web services and messaging paradigms
- Experienced in enterprise Java technology and Microsoft stack (optional)
