The Pretrial Services Program Manager is responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of the pre-trial services program, including the accurate and timely completion of the Public Safety Assessment and effective supervision of defendants on pre-trial supervision. Additionally, supervise staff, coordinate with outside agencies to provide supportive services, train criminal justice and community stakeholders, and monitor program productivity and service delivery.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Manage the pre-trial program's daily operations and ensure compliance with internal policies/procedures, budget, and personnel.Implement best practices and national pre-trial standards.Develop policies and procedures and complete initial and ongoing training for all pre-trial staff.Provide supervision, coaching, and performance evaluation of staff.Serve as staff to the Pre-Trail Services Advisory Board (PTSAB).Share emerging pre-trial research and trends with staff and criminal justice stakeholders.Lead training on pre-trial best practices for staff, criminal justice stakeholders, and the public.Participate in budget development for the pre-trial program and prioritize operational needs.Maintain and report on data relating to the performance of the pre-trial program.Identify grant opportunities.Develop relationships with community service providers and build an inventory of pre-trial release services.Develop collaborative partnerships with local colleges and universities and build an internship program to enhance case management services.Establish and maintain professional relationships with all criminal justice stakeholders.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and maintain the ability to access CJIS-protected information. A valid driver’s license is required.
