The ISS Teacher Assistant supports the effective operation of the In-School Suspension (ISS) program by supervising and assisting students assigned to ISS. Supervise and manage students assigned to ISS in a structured, supportive, and respectful environment.
Monitor student behavior and ensure compliance with school rules and ISS guidelines.
Support students in completing class assignments and staying current with their academic work.
Communicate with teachers, administrators, and support staff regarding student progress and concerns.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic work in ISS.
