Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum age of 23 years and a valid Class A CDL driver's license. You must also have two years of verifiable driving experience (approximately 100,000 miles) or one year of verifiable driving experience and a diploma from an accredited driving school that Pitt Ohio Express approves. In addition, you must pass a Pitt Ohio Express driving test administered by an approved trainer. All drivers must possess a Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsement on their current valid driver's license issued by the resident state in which they reside. You will also need to provide information on all previously held licenses within the past 36-month period and have no record of a driver's license suspension or revocation for more than 30 days covering the 36-month period prior to the order date of a Motor Vehicle Record. Furthermore, you must not have any serious traffic violations during the 60-month period prior to the order date of a Motor Vehicle Record and pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination. Lastly, you must consent to a pre-employment drug screen and a ten-year check on work history.
