This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.
Spring / Summer Internship | January / February Start Date
In this internship, the selected candidate will learn about the essential functions of Recruitment and will work on various projects within the Human Resources department. In addition to learning the functions of the Human Resources department, during the summer all interns will work on a group intern project that will be presented to the company Executives and Managers upon completion. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable real world work experience. This is an ideal position for a college student who desires to work in a fast paced, dynamic atmosphere and be exposed to all aspects of Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Assist with reviewing job seekers on job boards
- Make recruiting calls to job seekers to inform them of employment possibilities
- Manage the Recruitment Hotline & Jobs@pittohio Inbox
- Partner with Recruitment Team to complete employment reference checks
- Post positions on various recruiting websites, vocational schools and college / universities
- Assist with the Driver / Dock referral program
- Work with the Recruitment Team on various reports
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
