Overview
PITT OHIO, a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Sales Business Intelligence (BI) Intern. This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.
Responsibilities
• Develop requirements, identify data sources, and create PowerBI solutions for sales metrics• Create customer analyses to understand potential • Collaborate with internal PITT OHIO teams to identify customer data sources and rules• Collaborate with IT to add data to reporting source (SQL Server data warehouse and Snowflake)
• Assist with Sales Director metrics dashboard, customer data set analysis, and Operations metrics dashboard
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Quantitative Marketing or a related field
• Minimum GPA of at least 3.5
• PowerBI development skills• Strong understanding of SQL databases and language• Excellent Excel skills • Ability to communicate results from analysis• Fluent English language skills required to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.• Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to work independently• Excellent organizational skills• Ability to work with large data sets in Excel• A functional knowledge of SQL, PowerBI and Snowflake• Effective problem-solving skills• Strong multitasking skills, ability to set priorities and accomplish objectives to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
