What we do:
Pittman is a full-service utility and DOT contractor, performing tree pruning, tree removal, right of way clearing, herbicide and vegetation management maintenance. We also provide storm related service throughout the Mid-Atlantic states.

Job Summary:
A Bucket Operator operates an aerial lift device (bucket truck) to reach branches interfering with electric lines.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist climbers by working on the ground, handing tools and heavy materials as needed
- Keeping the work area clear of debris
- Being attentive to the crew leader’s cues throughout the job and maintaining awareness of potential hazards
- Safely driving company vehicles to / from job sites
- Keep trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion
Qualifications:
- Experience with safe operation of chainsaws and other pruning equipment.
- Experience with a Bucket Truck
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- ISA Certified Arborist status, and/or CDL highly desirable but not required.
