The Department of History, Philosophy and Social Sciences is seeking to create a pool of individuals interested in part-time temporary instruction of courses in areas such as Criminal Justice, History, Geography, Philosophy, Political Science, Social Work and Sociology. Assignment of courses varies depending on the background of the individuals available.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach one or more undergraduate courses in the program areas identified.
Education and Experience
Required Education and Experience -
- Master’s Degree in the field of study required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills required.
- Knowledge of and the ability to work with a course management system (Canvas).
- Experience with online instruction.
Preferred Education and Experience -
- Instructor experience in higher education or with adult learners preferred.
Job Type: Unclassified, Faculty, Non-Tenure Earning
Appointment Duration: Varies based on need.
Work Schedule: Part Time, Varies.
