Job Summary:
The drafter is responsible for technical drawings and plans of steel constructions using Auto CAD.
Job Duties:
- Knowledge of Auto CAD and steel construction, welding and piping
- Create layouts and complete detailed drawings sets for steel structures
- Attention to detail
- Accountability and delivery on deadline commitments and quality
- Knowledge or experience in steel fabrication and field construction a plus

Qualifications:
· Associates Degree or certificate from a technical program will be considered
· Knowledge and experience with using Auto CAD
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
· Familiar with engineering concepts and terminology
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
· Detail oriented and high capacity to work in a focused and methodical manner
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
· Organizational and follow-up capabilities
· Basic mathematical skills, e.g. averages, percentages
· Good communication skills
