OPERATIONS MANAGER
Job Summary:
PTTG is looking for an Operations Manager – Civil and Concrete, for our PTT Elevated Division. This position will oversee concrete operations for foundations for storage tanks and assist as needed for any communication tower foundations. Will be involved in design, detailing, procurement of materials, placement, and quality control, including managing subcontractors.
Job Duties and Qualifications:
- Work with drafting to resolve any conflicts for rebar placement and conflicts of piping and appurtenances.
- Understanding of geotechnical reports and recommendations to help with engineering with final designs is beneficial as well as deep foundation installation including steel piles, auger cast piles, geo-piers.
- Knowledge of CRSI (Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute)
- Knowledge of ACI (American Concrete Institute)
- Knowledge of NCPA (National Precast Concrete Association)
- Knowledge of site civil work required to provide finish job including piping, gravel, asphalt,
- Knowledge of concrete forming systems and use of them.
- Experience with quantity take-offs a plus.
- Experience with detailed scoping of subcontractor’s a plus.
- Experience bid leveling a plus.
- Experience managing subcontractors a plus.
