Seeking an experienced, ambitious, professional Catering Sales Manager to join our Team of Hospitality Professionals at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott!
Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through efforts (outside sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, networking, etc...) while maximizing banquet space to meet/exceed revenue goals. Plan, up-sell and detail the meeting/function with the client including: space requirements, times, equipment, menus, themes/decorations, etc... Complete the contracts, prepare the appropriate paperwork, coordinate with the appropriate areas in the hotel, resolve customer issues, complaints and problems to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of corporate/hotel procedures and products and the competition's product, strengths and weaknesses to continually improve sales strategies and the achievement of goals.
Qualifications:
Prior Catering Sales experience with track record of accomplishments is required. Well rounded in hotel catering sales.
Must possess exceptional customer service and a high sense of urgency. Prefer 3 - 5 years solid Social Sales experience.
Experience in CI/TY and MARSHA is helpful. EOE/AA
