Job Summary
We are looking to add a new team member to support our growing client base. In this position, you will support a wide range of configurations from Peer-to-Peer networks to domains hosted in a VMware virtual infrastructure.
Responsibilities and Duties
Regular activities include
- Windows/VMware OS deployment and support
- User hardware/software/peripheral support
- LAN troubleshooting and support
- Systems administration
- Creating and maintaining documentation
- Performing on-site work at client locations.
- Working on in-shop hardware.
Qualifications and Skills
Basic Qualifications
- 5 years hands-on IT Support experience.
- Able to work independently
- Level 2 understanding networking (firewalls, access points, cabling, switches)
- Level 2 understanding of hardware needs (purchasing, identifying specifications, troubleshooting, printers, computers, TV’s)
- Level 2 understanding of software troubleshooting (cloud applications, MS Office, misc programs)
- Level 2 understanding of AV (meetings, projectors, smart boards, mics)
- Level 2 understanding of telecom (phones, cabling)
- Level 2 understanding of Office365 (email, SharePoint, EntraAD for cloud joining, device management, Intune)
- Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision
- May require lifting or carrying desktop computers up to 50 lbs.
- Some on call responsibilities are required
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Office 365 Administration
- Experience with Ubiquiti equipment
- Experience managing meeting hardware
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field
