Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead strategic planning cycles, ensuring that enterprise-level objectives are aligned with departmental goals. Drive high-priority projects from inception through execution, ensuring measurable impact.
- Organizational Alignment: Serve as a cross-functional connector—ensuring clarity, accountability, and cohesion across business units (e.g., ticketing, marketing, partnerships, retail, F&B).
- Executive Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to both the Interim President of Business Operations and the CFO, offering insight and analysis on critical business decisions, potential opportunities, and organizational challenges.
- Business Intelligence: Lead the synthesis of key data and market intelligence to inform strategic recommendations and decisions. Help shape KPIs and performance dashboards at the executive level.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Support high-level stakeholder communications, including internal leadership, ownership, league representatives, sponsors, and strategic partners. Prepare briefings, reports, and ownership materials.
- Change Management & Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvement, and operational efficiency. Help manage the cultural and organizational implications of change initiatives.
- Execution Oversight: Ensure follow-through on decisions made by the Interim President of Business Operations, the CFO, and leadership team, monitoring progress, anticipating roadblocks, and driving accountability across the organization.
- Meeting Scheduling & Management: Own the scheduling, agenda-setting, and follow-up processes for key executive meetings, including leadership team sessions, ownership updates, and strategic offsites—ensuring alignment and continuity across conversations and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2–4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or corporate development.
- Experience in the identification and implementation of strategy through the utilization of KPIs, operational insights, predictive modeling, and research.
- Strong business intuition and understanding of underlying drivers of business value.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills with ability to demonstrate clear, concise articulation of scenarios, options, storytelling, recommendations, risks, and mitigations.
- Exceptional conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills with the power to quickly frame issues and recommend creative and efficient solutions.
- Capacity to lead and work collaboratively in a consultative role at all levels of an organization, including interfacing with senior leadership.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience preparing executive-level presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Passion for sports and a strong understanding of the NHL landscape is a plus.
