Job Summary: The Production Generalist will play a crucial role in our production team, handling various tasks related to supporting and producing garments. This flexible position requires a versatile individual who can adapt to different roles and responsibilities to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. You must be a fast learner and able to follow company processes for every area assigned. Training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving & Lay Out:
- Help check in orders looking for accuracy and unblemished garments.
- Lay out garments for any decoration type.
- Maintain and clean up receiving area at the conclusion of each shift.
- Screen Printing:
- “Catch” and inspect each garment as it comes off the back of the belt.
- Inspect printed products for quality and accuracy.
- Assist with packing completed orders for shipping and pick up.
- Maintain and clean equipment regularly.
- Embroidery:
- Operate embroidery machines to stitch designs onto garments.
- Set up and adjust machines for each job.
- Inspect embroidered products for quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines.
- Heat Production:
- Load, press, and unload garments from machines according to work order.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in screen or heat printing and/or embroidery is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Interest in art or garment production a must.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
