JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This is a school-based professional transfer opportunity for the 2025-26 school year.
Grade Level
The Human Resources Department makes every effort to confirm specific content area and grade level information prior to positions being posted; however, based on potential internal movement within a school, the grade and content area are subject to change. More details related to this particular assignment will be available during the interview.
Details about exercising a Right to Return are included in the "Additional Job Information" section later in this posting. This information is also available on Question #11 in the Guidelines for the Internal Transfer Season for Professionals located at MyPPS Departments Human Resources Internal Transfer Seasons Staffing Guidelines
Salary Information
Professionals will maintain their status on their current salary schedule so long as the position for which they are applying uses that salary schedule.
If the position for which they are applying is aligned to a different salary schedule, transferring professionals will be placed on the appropriate salary schedule
Essential Functions
Appropriate responsibilities based on the functions of the position. More details related to this particular assignment will be available during the interview.
Certification/Licensure Required
Active, valid certification in the content area listed.
Properly certified school-based professionals whose current assignment is in a different certification area are welcome to apply but should be aware that changing certification areas may take place only if it does not lead to the furlough of another professional.

APPLICANT ELIGIBILE CRITERIA
School-based professionals participating in the voluntary transfer process are limited to three (3) applications. If a professional applies to more than 3 positions, Human Resources will honor only the first 3 applications in alphabetical order by school. All other applications will be omitted.

If you have a right to return to this vacancy and do not exercise it within the application window you will forfeit your right to return to this school at a later date.
