POSITION TITLE
Manager, CTE Stakeholder Engagement, Innovation & Funding Development
Job Description Summary
The Manager, CTE Stakeholder Engagement, Innovation & Funding Development is directly supervised by the CTE Executive Director and will provide logistical support and leadership to expand Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities within the District. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, including industry, community, and educational partners, to enhance CTE programs through work-based learning and pre-apprenticeships.
Key responsibilities include creating presentations to promote CTE programs, managing community engagement and marketing plans, maintaining the CTE website, and supporting curriculum development. The candidate will also coordinate professional learning for CTE teachers, research opportunities for new courses based on industry trends, and seek supplemental grants.
Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with guidelines and maintaining CTE data systems like Qualtrics and eSchoolPLUS.
The ideal candidate will be organized, have strong communication skills, advanced technology skills, and be experienced in project management and stakeholder engagement.

Essential Functions
- Provide logistical support for developing new and existing stakeholder partnerships to enhance CTE opportunities for students across the District:
- LAC/OAC/Perkins Committee Members
- Work-Based Learning Opportunities
- Pre-Apprenticeships
- Devise and develop presentations for stakeholders, including but not limited to industry, community, post-secondary institutions, parents/guardians, and staff, that promote awareness and clearly communicate the benefits of CTE programs.
- Develop and lead implementation of community engagement and marketing plans, including utilizing both social and print media, developing flyers and other communications tools to promote CTE offerings across the District.
- Maintain the CTE division's webpage.
- Develop, upload, and submit all CTE related Board tabs in conjunction with the CTE Executive Director.
- Coordinate ongoing updates for Program and Elective curricula based on state standards and PDE Task Lists.
- Guide the development of new CTE courses based on emerging industry trends, coordinate curriculum and textbook adoptions, and facilitate the development of aligned curriculum including organizing tasks, researching trends, and ensuring the right team members are involved.
- Plan, coordinate, and organize professional learning opportunities for CTE Program and Elective teachers by researching relevant topics and securing experts for the training.
- Monitor opportunities, write, and sustain supplemental grants to support the CTE division.
- Ensure all work adheres to all local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Enter, maintain, and retrieve all CTE applicable data from aligning systems, such as: Qualtrics and eSchoolPLUS.
- Other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor in support of the department's or school's goals and objectives and the District's mission and Superintendent's Priority Goals .

- Experience managing projects, meeting goals, and project deliverables highly desirable.
- Proven ability to expand and enhance programming, preferable CTE programs.
- Quick learner with the ability to acquire knowledge of all current and prospective CTE programs and standards.
- Deep knowledge of the Pittsburgh community and an understanding of the regional labor market.
- Experience marketing programs to stakeholders, community members, and students.
- Demonstrated skill in public speaking and conducting presentations.
- Experience in developing/delivering professional development workshops.
- Experience working with or writing grant proposals.
- Self-starter who is highly organized yet flexible with a focus on team.
- Ability to innovate, research and think creatively.
- A capacity to solve problems, to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.
- Outstanding problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build meaningful partnerships with external organizations, internal departments, and schools.
