We are seeking a skilled Associate Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, standards, and plans that are essential for the development and construction of various power projects. This role requires proficiency in drafting software and a strong understanding of design principles to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Develop and prepare detailed CAD standards, drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software.
- Collaborate with drafters, designers, and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Modify existing drawings based on internal and external feedback and project changes.
- Create 2D and 3D models and visualizations using tools such as AutoCAD and Microstation.
- Assist in calculations, studies, specifications, cost estimates, and project management duties as needed.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals by providing accurate drawings.
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD software is essential.
- Experience with Microstation software is a plus.
- Expert familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite software including email etiquette.
- Ability to create 2D and 3D drawings to illustrate design concepts effectively.
- Strong skills in drafting schematics for various applications.
- Ability to follow quality control process and be an internal quality advocate.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal, written, and procedural communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Construction and design experience background.
- Interest in the power industry.
