Position Overview
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to join our team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment when full-time teachers are unavailable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide instruction, manage the classroom, and maintain a positive learning environment for students in grades 6-12.
- Follow lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the absent teacher.
- Maintain classroom routines and ensure a safe and respectful environment for all students.
- Communicate effectively with staff and administration regarding student progress or concerns.
- Adapt quickly to different subject areas and grade levels as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with students in an educational or related setting is a plus.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to various situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and support students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Schedule & Pay
- Hours: 7:35 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Pay: $100 per day
