Sterling Fab Tech is a CNC Machine Tool Sales Company that specializes in metal fabrication and processing equipment. We exclusively represent multiple global leading manufacturers of CNC Equipment across the Southern, Mid-Western and Western United States.

Our team maintains close relationships with our clients to advise them on machine tool purchases, how the tools can improve their processes, what equipment best meets their needs, as well as providing post-sales support like service and applications support.

The equipment we sell includes 2D and 3D Lasers, Press Brakes, Automatic Laser Welders, Punches, 3D Printers, Plasma Cutters, Plate Rolls, Water Jets, Metal Finishing, etc., as well as Auxiliary Equipment, Tooling, Material Storage and Power Tools.

We pride ourselves in being the subject matter experts by maintaining the highest level of technical competency in fabrication processes and machine technologies. Combining this know-how with an engineering approach to sales, we want to understand the customers needs and educate their team so they can make the best possible decision without any sales puffery.

About the job :

We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our Team and assist with growing our customer base in the Houston Area.

The Sales Representative will play a key role in expanding our Southern Texas Market through working leads and building relationships with potential customers, as well as maintaining relationships with our current customers.

Supported by our dedicated sales, marketing, and support teams, as well as access to manufacturer showrooms and a vast install base for on-site demonstrations, you will have the resources and training necessary to excel in this dynamic role.

What we offer :

Competitive salary commission

Salary range for this position is $85,000 - $150,000 depending on experience

Total earning potential is $150,000-$275,000 or more - commission is uncapped

Job Requirements :

You are located in or around the Greater Houston Area . Although this is technically a remote position, you must live in this area as it is the primary territory you will be visiting potential and current customers in.

Are tech savvy, have strong computer skills and experience using CRM systems (we use Salesforce).

Have prior sales experience and have the ability to continuously build rapport with potential customers. Experience with longer sales cycles is highly preferred.

Have a positive, professional attitude and excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with both technical and non-technical individuals. Our clients are generally management level, and our manufacturers are global suppliers; therefore, a high level of professionalism is expected.

Are a highly motivated, self-starter that takes initiative and works well independently and with others.

Background in and / or basic knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, fabrication and / or mechanics would be very beneficial.

Salary : $150,000 - $275,000
