Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead Emerging Market Entry & Execution (Development):

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal Policy, Market Strategy, Engineering, Grid Integration, Legal, Finance, Project Development, PC, CCES teams, and others to ensure every aspect of market entry and project execution is aligned.
  • Manage external relationships with landowners, permitting authorities, utilities, and local stakeholders to ensure smooth project development.
  • Lead Market Assessment & Reporting (Development):
  • Conduct thorough market assessments to ensure all factors (regulatory, grid infrastructure, community support) are addressed.
  • Provide clear, actionable reports to senior leadership on market performance, challenges, and recommendations for next steps.
  • Present findings and strategic insights on whether a market is ready for escalation or de-escalation and suggest resource shifts accordingly.

  • Proven experience in developing renewable energy projects in competitive and nascent markets. Experience with coordinating a successful RFP bid proposal, or similar incentive program opening, to showcase the ability to execute a winning strategy based on factors such as project readiness, community support, creative design, project economics, and/or geography.
