Job Title: Merchandiser/Delivery Driver, Part Time
Location: MT (Helena)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Merchandiser/Delivery Driver to join our team on a part-time basis (Part-Time/Weekly). This dual-role position involves ensuring proper stocking and display of products in retail stores, as well as delivering inventory from the distribution center to designated retail locations.
Weekly hours depend upon region served – ranges from 5 to 20.
Key Responsibilities:`
Merchandising:
- Ensure accurate stocking, shelving, and display of products in retail grocery stores across Helena and surrounding areas.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with store personnel and buyers to support order placement.
- Confirm that stores are well-stocked in advance of scheduled in-store demo events.
- Submit weekly reports on in-store inventory levels, including photos of product displays.
- Assist during in-store demo events as needed to promote products and engage with customers.
Delivery and Warehouse Management:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to retail stores.
- Pull stock from the warehouse using FIFO (First In, First Out) protocols to fulfill orders.
- Load and unload products while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and confirm deliveries with store personnel.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize fuel usage, mileage, and retailer delivery windows.
- Conduct quarterly warehouse inventory checks and submit detailed reports.
- Track and manage damaged inventory, including proper disposal and documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and handle products safely during deliveries and stocking.
- Strong organizational skills to manage time, routes, and inventory efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with dispatchers, team members, and store personnel.
- Reliable and punctual, with a professional attitude and appearance.
Work Schedule:
Part-time, hours per week depend on location. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including occasional early mornings or late afternoons for deliveries and store visits.
Compensation:
Depends upon location served and experience. Pay range is $16 to $19/hour and mileage is reimbursed.
