Position Overview
Pivot Onsite Innovations is now hiring an experienced and self-driven Certified Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant for a full-time position. This role will provide support at our onsite research specimen collection program located at our client's facility in Gaithersburg, MD!
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm!

Job Summary:The Certified Phlebotomist performs routine administrative and patient care supportive duties in the client Occupational Health clinic to assist the medical staff in the examination and treatment of patients and ensure office runs smoothly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure donors have signed the donor consent on the day of donation
- Obtain blood or collect nasal swabs, urine, exhaled breath condensate, saliva and/or stool from donors
- Ensure collected specimens are labeled accurately
- Package specimens for pick up by the researcher/scientist/support staff
- Ensure daily “specimen pick up sheets” are signed by researchers/scientists
- Contact late and “no show” donors as needed
- Find new donors quickly when the scheduled donors fail to show for their donation
- Maintain inventory of supplies as needed.
- Submit orders for supplies via Coupa
- Restock & clean phlebotomy rooms on a daily basis
- Schedule donors and re-qualifications
- Make copies of all RSCP documents needed for the donors
- File all daily schedules/donor consents in a locked file
- Maintain the RSCP email by answering any questions or concerns
- Deliver requalification lab work to designated medical provider for processing
- Approve payments for donors based on samples collected and payment schedule in the IRB-approved protocol
- Enter daily donations into RMS
- Performs other duties as needed to support RSCP functions (AZ/Compass/Pivot defined)
Required Education, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Certified Phlebotomist
- Current CPR/First Aid certifications required
- N95 Certfication required
- Proficient with MS Office
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees

Salaried ranges listed are for full time (40 hour) employees. Additional pay such as incentive, GAP, overtime, and stipends are subject to the rules of each program and may not be available in all locations. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
