Job Summary
The Pivot OnSite Innovations team seeks a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our onsite clinic in a PRN capacity. As an Occupational Health Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to employees, focusing on workplace injury management and compliance with health regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Treats acute occupational injuries
- Performs drug tests, hearing tests, pulmonary function tests, and fit tests
- Responds to medical emergencies, initiates, and facilitates ongoing health and wellness screenings and wellness functions for employees
- Manages cases of workman's compensation claims in conjunction with the employer representative and insurance carrier
- Facilitates return-to-work and light-duty assignments for employees with work-related injuries
- Maintains a current case log for workplace injuries outlining treatment plans for weekly case reviews
- Assures compliance with OSHA and DOT programs, such as hearing conservation, blood-borne pathogen training, random drug screening, and follow-up programs
- Maintains healthcare unit inventory of medications and supplies
- Assists the employer representative with the administration of the Non-Occupational Disability Program
- Exhibits a positive and proactive attitude towards managing the clinic, clinical functions, and patient flow
- Other duties as assigned
