About the Position:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing healthcare support at our onsite clinic, focusing on the evaluation and case management of workplace injuries. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Treating acute occupational injuries
- Performing various medical tests and procedures
- Responding to medical emergencies and coordinating employee health and wellness initiatives
- Managing workman's compensation claims and facilitating return-to-work programs
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, including case logs and OSHA compliance documents
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Valid state license
- 3 years of nursing experience
- 2 years of occupational health experience
- Certified to perform DOT urine drug and alcohol screens
- Certification in Occupational Hearing Conservationist
- Certified in CPR/AED/First Aid
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels across the organization
- Strong administrative and management skills
