Job Description
As a Parking Garage Maintenance Attendant and Porter at Pivot Parking, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and functionality of our parking facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections of parking garages to identify and address maintenance and repair needs such as lighting, signage, structural issues, and cleanliness.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Ensure that the parking facility is clean and free of debris, litter, and graffiti. Clean spills and stains promptly. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in public areas.
- Lighting and Signage: Monitor and replace light bulbs and ensure that all lighting fixtures are operational. Maintain proper functioning of directional signs and safety warnings.
- Painting and Surface Repairs: Perform minor painting tasks to touch up walls, columns, and other surfaces as needed. Repair minor damage to walls and structures.
- Snow and Ice Removal: During winter months, assist with snow and ice removal to ensure safe conditions for customers and employees.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair maintenance equipment and tools. Report any major equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including but not limited to fire alarms, accidents, and power outages. Follow safety protocols and assist customers in case of emergencies.
- Documentation: Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities, including work completed, materials used, and equipment serviced.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a polite and helpful manner, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a parking garage or similar environment.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform tasks that may require physical effort.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
