What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production/Warehouse position at Pivot Sweets?
Position Overview
Pivot Sweets is located in Comstock Park and produces sugar-free and healthy sweets! We are currently seeking a person who can fluctuate between production and warehouse job duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to safety and operational guidelines.
- Assemble, package, and label products efficiently and accurately.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with receiving shipments, including unloading trucks and organizing inventory.
- Accurately input data related to inventory and production into the company's database.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
