Who You Are:
- A subject matter expert in math and sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calc, and Calculus).
- You’ve aced AP exams in your subjects and are willing to retake them to prove your expertise.
- You have teaching experience—whether in a classroom, as a professor, or through extensive private tutoring.
- You have a track record of helping students excel in their coursework and standardized tests (SAT, ACT, AP, etc.).
- You understand how to make complex topics clear, engaging, and easy to master.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, one-on-one tutoring in math and science for middle school, high school, and college students.
- Prepare students for AP exams, SAT/ACT, and other standardized tests using proven teaching strategies.
- Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs and learning style.
- Take AP exams as a demonstration of subject mastery (company-sponsored).
- Communicate regularly with parents and students to track progress and set academic goals.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a STEM field (Math, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Engineering, or a related discipline).
- Teaching and tutoring experience (minimum 2 years, ideally in AP-level coursework).
- Proven success in helping students achieve top scores.
- Ability to break down complex topics into clear, understandable lessons.
- Energetic, engaging, and results-driven approach to teaching.
