Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Piping Superintendent with a strong emphasis on mechanical piping systems for industrial projects. This role involves providing leadership, supervision, and support on-site to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing piping operations in sectors like Pulp & Paper, Chemical, and Heavy Industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead piping crews and supervise daily work activities, ensuring all piping systems are installed according to project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate mechanical and piping designs, ensuring the project's constructability.
- Manage relationships with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met, while maintaining quality standards.
- Construction Cost Management : Oversee project budgets, control costs, and manage change orders efficiently.
- Provide direct supervision to foremen and ensure that piping work is executed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Develop construction plans, review piping drawings, and ensure material take-offs and requisitions are accurately prepared.
- Proactively identify potential issues and develop solutions to ensure smooth project progress.
- Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project timelines and resolving any site challenges.
