Position Overview :

As a Senior Design Checker at our modular manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of our modular designs. Collaborating closely with our design and engineering teams, you'll review and analyze modular construction plans to ensure they meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal specifications. Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough reviews of modular construction plans, including architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical components, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with building codes and standards.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to identify and address potential design flaws, inconsistencies, and errors early in the design process, working closely with design and engineering teams.
- Stay updated on relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure all modular designs adhere to legal and safety requirements, providing guidance and recommendations throughout the design process.
- Utilize your expertise in modular construction principles, materials, and techniques to evaluate designs for structural integrity, functionality, and manufacturability, offering insights and suggestions for optimization.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, project managers, and manufacturing personnel, providing clear and constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed records of design reviews, modifications, and approvals, generating reports summarizing findings and recommending corrective actions as needed.
