Shifts: In general we offer 8, and 12 hour shifts for our Caregiver positions. We have openings for full-time (30 hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions.
- Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm ( Full-Time & Part Time)
- Nights: 10pm-6:30am (Full-Time)

Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Life Services Coordinator - Caregiver to join our Maggie's Place Memory Care team! The Life Services Coordinator is responsible for cultivating an environment that maximizes each resident’s independence. The Life Services Coordinator is responsible for delivering assistance with personal care, social and recreational activities, meals, and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of tenants.
Responsibilities:
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA provides services to tenants as assigned and as indicated on Resident Service Plans which may include grooming and dressing guidance, assistance with bathing.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA reports any significant tenant changes to the nurse.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA monitors for changes in tenant needs, preferences, and/or health status, and reports/documents any changes according to established procedures
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA reviews the Staff 24-Hour Communication log and corresponding Tenant Service Notes on a daily basis for information about changes in tenant service needs and/or health conditions.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA prepares and serves meals and snacks, followed by clean-up.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA monitors food expiration dates.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA maintains kitchen cleanliness.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA makes beds and change linens.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA laundry service.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA housekeeping, to include, dusting and vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and common spaces.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA takes out garbage.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA maintains activity calendar and engage tenants in activities such as spiritual, educational, games, music, and physical activities.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA provides companionship.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA works effectively with minimal supervision and in a team setting.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA follows safety policies in performing care, assuring resident safety.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA follows and upholds policies and procedures.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA Attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA follows infection control guidelines.
- Caregiver/CNA/CMA observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Prefer 1-2 years’ previous experience working with individuals with dementia, preferably in a memory care setting.
- Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
