We are seeking a dedicated Coding & Billing Specialist to join our award-winning hospital system. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely with a supportive team that truly values its employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess documentation for each hospital service rendered.
- Accurately code principal diagnoses, secondary conditions, procedures, and social determinant codes.
- Utilize American Hospital Association & Current Procedural Terminology guidelines.
- Follow payer-specific rules for commercial/Medicaid insurance and drug administration for certain service lines.
Requirements:
- 2 years of recent hospital billing experience.
- At least one certification: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS.
