Psychiatrist Opportunity
We are seeking a BE / BC Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to engage in outpatient care, consultative services, or a combination of both. Consultations will primarily be conducted providing you with a diverse and rewarding clinical experience.
Job Summary :
Engage in outpatient psychiatric care, providing comprehensive assessments and evidence-based treatments to patients.
Conduct consultative services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address complex psychiatric needs.
Teach and mentor Psychiatry residents and medical students as part of our Psychiatry residency program.
Join a supportive and collaborative environment dedicated to fostering professional growth and development.
Schedule :
IP consults vary each day. We also use a telepsych company to help with any overflow. Outpatient - Most of our psychiatrists use a 15 / 30 min schedule.
No telehealth opportunities currently. With us having a psychiatry residency program at the hospital, we need our psychiatrists to be present. Full-time positions are 36 clinical hours and 4 admin hours per week.
3 telephonic weekday calls per month. Our residents take the call first and follow up with the attending on-call with any questions or concerns. Our psychiatrists also complete consults 1 weekend every other month (roughly 6 weekends a year) and also take call that weekend as well. As above, residents take call first and also round with the psychiatrist on the weekends.

Incentive : Up to 10% of whatever the base salary is (30K)
Based on productivity (80%), Quality Goals (10), and service scores (10%)

Qualifications
MD, DO, or equivalent foreign degree
Completion of ACMGE accredited psychiatry residency or fellowship program
Candidates must be BE / BC in Psychiatry
Candidates coming out of training encouraged to apply!
A valid PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required.
