This position is Salary Commission. The base salary will between $35k - $45k, and, at a minimum, will allow for an additional $48k in annual commissions. The ceiling is much higher. We are negotiable on a plan to supplement income during the ramp up period through a draw or equivalent.
This position requires a personality type with the ability to sell a product that is somewhat abstract. Our prospects don't always know that the service exists, nor that they need it. It requires strategic approach, and sustained effort over time. It IS NOT a numbers game making cold calls.

Summary
As an Outside Sales Representative at Pivotal Project Management, you will play a vital role in driving our business growth by finding and developing new client relationships and referral partners. This position is essential for expanding our market presence and increasing total revenue.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and channel partners through regular communication and follow-ups.
- Conduct walk throughs, prepare project proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively to meet sales targets.
- Effectively transition projects to the operations team upon accepted proposal.
Requirements
- Experience with commission based compensation, and the ability to survive in this environment.
- Proven experience in outside sales or business development, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project management principles is a plus.
