Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.
- Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, governmental accounting, and regulatory reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, is preferred.
- Exceptional financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
