What will you be doing?
- Assure integrity of wholesale financial activities: Ensure accuracy of all the general ledger functions including work related to inventory balances, changes, PPV and pattern detail
- Closing of financial books and develop reports: Provide analysis at the end of each fiscal period related to the general ledger- freight, samples, service fees, warehouse expenses, and royalty expense
- Record assets, liabilities, and expenses: Keep accurate records in accordance with GAAP, company policies, and SOX requirements
- Review and tests general ledger accounts: Assure proper analysis and documentation is provided in support of the balances (i.e. licensing, royalties, other accrued liabilities, etc.); alerts financial management of trends, concerns and conclusions reached and implements recommendations
- Research and introduce process improvement: Focus on streamlining and automating financial processes and reporting, especially as it relates to BPC, BI, and SAP interaction
Qualifications that make you the perfect fit!
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience is necessary.
- Proficiency in Excel is required.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks at once.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
