We are seeking a CFP to lead new client acquisition.
The Director of Client Development will be a key leader driving the company's growth through partnerships and through direct-to-client efforts. They will join our existing Growth and Advisory teams to focus on new client development and asset formation. The Director of Client Development must be able to create, cultivate and close prospects directly as well as collaborate closely with B2B partners to drive referral business. This may entail a more consultative sales approach including but not limited to providing a high-level financial plan and advice in conjunction with a prospect's other financial service provider(s).
This individual will have the opportunity to help shape the company and growth strategies while working closely with an experienced team of industry experts and entrepreneurs.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with CPA partners to identify and develop tax-smart wealth acceleration opportunities for existing tax clients to develop leads based on CPA relationships combined with insight on how to achieve better outcomes
Leverage your expertise in wealth optimization to create custom proposals to prospects
Create direct to client leads through business development, partner referrals / cross-selling and / or through in-person and digital events with prospects
Develop and implement strategies that engage marketing-driven and self-created leads to close new client accounts and achieve growth goals
Work with advisory team in connecting new clients to right advisor.
Work closely with Operations and Business Development representatives to develop processes and lead tracking through closed deals in our CRM and utilizing Sales Automation tools
Lead the creation of the “playbook” that will drive client growth and asset formation
Key Requirements :
Bachelor's degree preferably in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
CFP® certification required
Expert with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Hubspot and marketing and sales technology
7 years of wealth management and comprehensive financial planning experience
You know your audience : You have - or can quickly develop - a deep understanding of physicians' unique wealth management needs and have mastered the know-how to use a consultative approach that meets prospects where they are to add value to their daily lives. Proven ability to convey financial advice with empathy, clarity, and confidence
Proven track record of building new business and increasing AUM
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
