Job Title: Dermatology Nurse
Job Type: Full Time -Permanent
Location: Lancaster, PA
Shift: Shifts are Monday-Friday approximately 7:30-5:30 depending on provider
Rate: $24 On W2 Benefits
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site Dermatology Nurse role located in Lancaster, PA. The Dermatology Nurse will be responsible for providing general and surgical dermatological care to patients of all ages. Duties include administering medications, assisting with procedures, educating patients on skin care, and collaborating with dermatologists.
Qualifications
- Medicine and Nursing skills
- Experience in Dermatology Nursing
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of skin conditions and treatments
- Ability to work well in a team
- Attention to detail and empathy towards patients
- Current RN license and Dermatology Nursing certification is a plus
- Experience working in a dermatology practice is preferred
Our nurses are responsible for:
- Rooming patients
- Obtaining/confirming medical history
- Scribing visit details during visit (they are in the room with each patient visit)
- Assisting with all procedures, including biopsies, injections, suturing, etc
- Send prescriptions as directed by the provider through our EMR system
- Patient education
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team of 1 provider and 2 assistants (1 teammate plus employee)
- Each provider sees between 40-45 patients per day with the help of 2 assistants
- Ability to work in Nextech (a dermatology specific software system)

Pay: $22.80 - $24.00 per hour
