Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Dialysis to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. You will work closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dialysis procedures, patient assessment, and the ability to operate dialysis equipment effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients' health status before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
- Administer medications and manage patient care plans in accordance with established protocols.
- Operate dialysis machines and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks.
- Respond promptly to any complications or emergencies during treatment sessions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and infection control protocols.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in dialysis nursing preferred; familiarity with ICD-9 coding is a plus.
- Knowledge of occupational health practices related to patient care.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks.
- Experience in critical care settings such as ICU is beneficial.
- Skills in performing procedures such as spinal taps or operating neonatal ventilators may be advantageous.
- Familiarity with mammography processes is a nice-to-have skill.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Pay: $53.30 - $56.13 per hour
