Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Field Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Field Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes or community settings, ensuring their health and well-being through comprehensive assessments and interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate health status and needs.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Monitor patient progress and document changes in health status accurately.
- Assist with the management of durable medical equipment (DME) as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, geriatrics, and relevant nursing practices.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while delivering care.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
- Experience in geriatrics, ophthalmology, or ICU preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and critical thinking.
- Familiarity with systems used in assisted living or nursing home settings.
- Experience administering injections is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple patient cases effectively.
- A commitment to providing compassionate care to diverse populations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
