About the Job:
The Systems Engineering team at Pivotal is looking for a Mechanical Component Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. The individual in this role will be responsible for the creation of physical products (parts), managing component libraries, and release process.
\n- Creates Physical Products (Parts) in 3DX and releases them through change actions
- Retrieves data from 3DX upon request
- Work on User Creations and assist with other user related activities including training for 3DX
- Perform Quality checks for CAD and Documents
- BOM Management of parts in 3DX
- 1-2 years of experience in use of 3DX tool including physical product creation
- Strong knowledge of part creation in 3DX
- Proficiency in CATIA V6 or other similar CAD software tools
- Proficiency in ENOVIA, Teamcenter or similar PLM Software
- Knowledge of release management processes and tools
- Experience with industry standards such as ASME, ISO, or similar for components
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Proactive and self-motivated
