Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction with their drink choices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, demonstrating basic math skills for cash handling.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Stay updated on current drink trends and menu offerings to enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices related to alcohol service.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
