Caf Host (On-Call)

We are looking for a Caf Host / Cashier to join the Culinary Team at Pixar Animation Studios as our On-Call Host. Are you hospitable, outgoing, hard working, quick to learn names, good with details, experienced in serving high quality food and enjoy being part of a close-knit work community? We are a fun and professional Culinary Team, operating a high-volume, high food quality Caf, who feed a creative group of employees who appreciate great food & service. We offer nights and weekends off, holidays off, and a beautiful work environment. Caf, catering or restaurant food service experience is required, customer service skills are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Generally available to work weekdays, 7 : 30AM to 4 : 30PM
• Take food orders from customers (Pixar employees, visiting guests), enter them in the point-of-sale system, and accurately handle credit card payments
• Prepare coffee-based beverages on request (we will train you!); serve prepared pastries and other ready food items
• Clean and maintain the work station, display cases, and equipment
• Maintain the dining room area cleanliness and re-stock supplies
• Follow established Caf guidelines concerning guest services and satisfaction, food and physical, safety, maintenance and equipment / space cleaning standards and requirements at all times

QUALIFICATIONS :

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

The hiring range for this position in Emeryville is $35,445.00 to $45,870.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
