Our Post Production Engineering team crafts software to support all of Pixar's post production pipeline, including color grading, localization, packaging, delivery, and media asset archiving. Together with our internal clients, we've built a sophisticated production pipeline, and our tools can generate terabytes of new media in a single day. Our software touches every Pixar project (feature films, shorts, series, and promotional material) and every version (Digital Cinema, Blu-ray / UHD, 3D, International). As technology advancements like immersive sound formats, 4K stereo, and direct view / emmissive displays transform our industry, we are looking for engineers who are passionate about tackling new problems.You are a versatile software engineer capable of handling everything from design and development to testing and support. You are dedicated to writing reliable and maintainable code, in both a new and legacy codebase. You are happiest working directly with the people who use your tools and strive to understand their workflow and needs. You have experience with image and video processing tools and technologies.
