As part of our ongoing expansion, we are excited to announce the opening of our first US location in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. This new facility will support our growing customer base in North America and enhance our production capabilities. We are looking for a skilled Binding Operator to join our dynamic production team in Warrendale. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with binding processes and be committed to ensuring the highest standards of product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load materials onto the binding machinery and supervise the process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect the alignment and mating of pages, ensuring each project meets Pixartprinting's high-quality standards.
- Perform quality checks throughout the process, ensuring the finished product meets the specifications and customer expectations.
- Unload completed products from the binding machinery and promptly report any errors or issues encountered during the process.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on binding machinery to ensure peak performance and minimal downtime.
- Package finished products efficiently and print the necessary waybills for shipping.
- Utilize Pixartprinting’s management system throughout various stages of processing to track and manage orders.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a binding or similar production role.
- Proven experience in a similar role within structured, high-volume companies.
- Strong knowledge of saddle stitching and binding machines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using PCs and basic software applications.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work in shifts to meet the demands of a busy production schedule.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to bend, twist, and reach to perform tasks in a production environment.
- Manual skill and the ability to handle small components with precision.
