Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented fast paced Food Preparation Worker to join our team. This job is for a permanent position as well as we are looking for responsible and reliable employee. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that food items are prepared efficiently and safely, adhering to food safety standards. You will assist in the preparation of ingredients, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the overall operations of the department.
Duties
- Prepare and portion food items according to standard specifications.
- Assist in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and cooking ingredients.
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed during food handling and preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food items.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $420.00 - $560.00 per week
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
